Diversity and uniqueness are the hallmark of Canadian born classical/jazz flutist, Alexander Zonjic. His inimitable sound reverberates with a richness that can be heard whether he’s playing a Bach sonata or a funky blues interlude.

Alexander Zonjic has toured and performed to the delight of audiences all over the world including, Japan, England, Mexico, the Philippines, and the Dominican Republic. He has played in major jazz festivals across the United States and has toured internationally and recorded with jazz great Bob James. Zonjic, a recording artist with Warner Bros., has recorded seven albums including Passion and his most recent release, Pipers’ Holiday.

Alexander Zonjic continues to redraw musical boundries, crossing from jazz to classical, leaping nimbly between funk and fusion, touching lightly in pop, soul, and even gospel. It is a dazzling balancing act that has always defined the particular magic of the artist… and the near universal appeal of his music.


Pam Bakken (Narrator for Peter and the Wolf) is the Director of Operations at WFBE-FM, Flint, where she also produces and hosts weekday classical music, public affairs, and new age/adult alternative music programing. She is a member of the Board of Directors at the International Institute of Flint, a member of the Sister Cities of Flint, Inc. and a volunteer and past board member of Wellness HIV/AIDS Services in Flint. Ms. Bakken has traveled to Russia, enjoys Russian history and literature, and is moderately fluent in Russian.

Jeffery Zook, has served as flutist and piccoloist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra since 1992. His formal musical studies began at the Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Michigan. In 1988 he received a Recitalist's Diploma at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. Mr. Zook has won prizes in many competitions, including the National Concerto Competition sponsored by General Motors and "Seventeen Magazine", the National Flute Association Young Artist Competition, and in 1991 was a finalist in the Concert Artist Guild New York Competition. He has performed at the music festivals of Tanglewood, Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute and the Sunflower Music Festival in Topeka, Kansas.
