Comedian’s comes from Kabalevsky’s
ballet and features ten short movements
of humorous Russian characters.

The
Polka
and
Fugue from
Schwanda the Bagpiper feature two short
but fully-developed tunes taken from Jaromir
Weinberger’s deep Czechoslovakian
folk roots.
Rick Robinson used his imagination
to combine the Animal Circus
Suite: mixing dinosuars,
a bear, flying horses et. al. with some
of Carnival of the Animals. They are tied
together with an original text as a circus
ringmaster which can be played by anyone!
