The Comedians Suite
The suite from The Comedian’s comes from Kabalevsky’s ballet and features ten short movements of humorous Russian characters.

1. Prologue
2. Gallop
3. March
4. Waltz
5. Pantomime
6. Intermezzo
7. Little Lyrical Scene
8. Gavotte
9. Scherzo
10. Epilogue

The Polka and Fugue from Schwanda the Bagpiper feature two short but fully-developed tunes taken from Jaromir Weinberger’s deep Czechoslovakian folk roots.

Rick Robinson used his imagination to combine the Animal Circus Suite: mixing dinosuars, a bear, flying horses et. al. with some of Carnival of the Animals. They are tied together with an original text as a circus ringmaster which can be played by anyone! The movements include the following:

• (Introduction) Entrance of the Gladiators March - Julius Fucik
• Royal March of the Lion from Carnival of the Animals - Camille Saint-Saëns
• Peasant Enters with a Bear from Petrushka - Igor Stravinsky
• The Elephant from Carnival of the Animals
• (Dinosuars) Ritual Action of the Ancestors from The Rite of Spring - Igor Stravinsky
Fossils from Carnival of the Animals
The Trout from the "Trout" Quintet - Franz Schubert
• (Acrobats & Jugglers) Dance of the Ballerina from Petrushka - Igor Stravinsky
The Swan from Carnival of the Animals
• (Flying Horse) Ride of the Valkyries from The Valkyries - Richard Wagner
